A supportive and caring community makes it possible for older citizens and disabled individuals to stay in their homes as long as possible. That is essential for a community like Georgetown, as our population ages. Age-Friendly Georgetown's mission is to help our family members, neighbors, and friends live safe, healthy and socially active lives in their home town.

Another successful Drug Take-Back program was held on October 27th. We collected a wide variety of medical supplies and prescription drugs, including controlled substances. Getting drugs that are no longer necessary or expired out of our homes is better for everyone. Thanks to the volunteers and the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Deputy for supporting this work.
