Our Age-Friendly survey has now been mailed in the bright yellow envelope. There is a stamped, addressed envelope included, making it easy to return. We hope you will take a couple minutes to fill it out and send it in.
Georgetown is a very caring town, with lots of support already provided to our elders by family, friends, and neighbors. Our goal is to support those efforts with resources and additional volunteers.
If you prefer, you can do it online with this link: Age-Friendly Survey
The results of this survey will guide our efforts as we work to make it easier and safer for elders to stay in their Georgetown homes as long as possible. If you have questions or suggestions, please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 387-0440.
The survey is funded by a grant from AARP; no town funds will be used.
The survey will be completely confidential. There will be a way to indicate a desire to get more information or to get support in various areas.
Our town's average age is rising steadily. Many of us will want to find ways to be able to stay in our community and our homes. Georgetown has a wonderful culture of neighbors helping neighbors and families taking care of their own. Our goal with the Age-Friendly program is to support those efforts and to provide additional resources to provide more town-based support with volunteer activity.
